The company is in fact expanding, but we have found that due to our focus in other areas, we can no longer offer the level of service required to maintain a competitive edge in the hosting industry. We do not want our customers to experience anything other than the highest quality of service, so the decision was made to remove web hosting from our offerings entirely. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this decision may cause, and know that we are available to answer any questions you may have or to assist in the process of migrating websites to a new provider.
We recommend DreamHost (www.dreamhost.com) as a capable alternative to our hosting plans, as they are similarly priced, reliable, and offer as many or more features than your current plan. If you choose to switch to DreamHost, Context can provide a coupon that will waive the hosting set up fee.
Many of our customers who are on a yearly billing cycle have not been billed for the current year due to the recent decision to eliminate hosting as a standalone service. If you have any questions about your billing status, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Any domain names currently registered through Context will be transferred to you directly. You will receive login details for domainsite.com, the third party registrar that Context has used for many years with great success. After the transition, you will be responsible for renewing the domain when it expires (DomainSite will email you as the expiration date approaches).
